The new European Ecolabel applied to lubricants (EEL) is now in force until the 31 December 2024. The lubricants awarded in accordance with the criteria set out in the decision 2011/381/EU may be used until 31 December 2019.

This paper is intended to provide information on the new criteria and the related assessment and verification requirements for lubricants and especially on hydraulic fluids.
